ARK PARK has arrived! The PARK was conceived over several meetings with a generous donor and dog lover who sought to help provide an alternative to the Shelter’s current dog runs, which are narrow and run along and down a wet slope behind the Shelter’s main building.
With the strategic placement of numerous gates, the PARK can be divided into four separate dog runs, or opened up to provide one large run. bARK PARK will not only improve the day-to-day lives of the Ark’s canine residents, but will become that new place at The Ark where the magic of happy, life-long relationships begin. Whether it’s to adopt, attend a training class, or take your canine companion on one of our surrounding walking trails, bARK PARK will be an exciting new addition to life at the Shelter.
