CHLOE is a 3 year old gray and peach calico tiger who adjusts easily to new situations, and gets along with other cats, although she a bit of a bully. If you're looking for an affectionate, entertaining feline, Chloe is your gal. Always purring and happy, this little sweetheart loves to play, will lay on her back for belly rubs, enjoys being held, and will reward you with a big purr as she nestles in your lap. CLEMENTINE is a large 3 year old spayed female, as big in personality as she is in size. A brown black and white tiger, she'll make plenty of noise when she's not happy, but it's easy to make Clementine happy, She jumps at the chance to play and enjoys being brushed. Although toddlers are not part of her game plan, and she can be dominant with other cats (unfortunately, she learned that at the shelter), Clementine likes to entertain and would add some spice to any adult household. PRUE is a 2 year-old black and white spayed female who prefers women, but does warm up to men. This small little girl has had many changes in her young life, going through hurricane Charley, and moving from Florida to Maine, Prue is harness and leash trained, enjoying daily walks outside. She loves to hear her name, adores attention, and is happy to relax in any available lap. Prue is a playful kitty, frequently batting her dangly, shiny toys around. ALLEY ANNA is a small 3 year old, grey mackerel with a beautiful white face and bib. A quiet, independent little girl, who occasionally bats her ball around, Alley Anna likes to be petted and have her head scratched. Surrendered along with her siblings due to her person's failing health, she'd be happy to be the only kitty in her new home. This pretty, spayed female has been at the shelter a long time, and is now a bit shy, but we think she'll go back to her former snuggly personality, once she settles in to her new home. SHIRLEY is a two year old, gray and white, short haired spayed female. Another exceptionally sweet kitty, she just loves attention. Shirley is a character; there's never a dull moment when she's around. She can entertain herself (and you, too) playing with whatever or whoever is at hand. Shirley gets along with other cats, and she likes dogs, too. An indoors-only kitty, she would like to be your lap cat, getting as many pats and cuddles as she can. MAXINE is a spayed, softly colored, silver-gray tiger, just as lovely as her personality. Only a year old, she's a big sweet kitty, very playful and friendly. She loves people and gets along with both cats and dogs. Maxine would fit in nicely anywhere that she would be loved. Click on her photo for a larger view.
MICKEY is an all black, 8 month old neutered teenager. He came with his two siblings, both less shy than he, and both already adopted. A quiet boy, he
gets along just fine with all the shelter cats. Mickey is super sweet, although sometimes unsure of himself and a little hesitant in seeking out human attention. Click on his photo for a larger view.
LANNA is a darling silver and black tabby, a spayed girl who still looks like a kitten although she's 5 to 7 years old. Lanna was fraidy-scared of everything when she first came to the shelter, but now she's discovered that she enjoys being petted and she's beginning to come out of her shell. It's no wonder she was scared: first, we took her kittens away; then we sent her off for an operation; and then we put her in with a bunch of cats she'd never met before. She'd sure like to go home with her new person, and with a bit of patience, Lanna will become an affectionate kitty. Click on her photo for a larger view.
HAZEL is a spayed female under 2 years old. A beautiful tabby, Hazel was rescued as a stray. Although she'd rather not be held (who knows what might have happened to her before she came to us) she is a sweetie. Still a youngster, she'll make someone a nice companion. MS PUSSYFOOT is a 14 year-old girl who can't imagine what she's doing here. Her owner had to go to a nursing home, and Ms. Pussyfoot had to come here. She's a matronly, quiet cat who came from a quiet home, and is hoping someone will see what a nice companion she'd make. She is a Golden Years pet (No adoption fee for seniors). SABRINA is a 2 year old spayed sweetie who enjoys playing with toys and with other cats. A sassy spayed female, petite and full of the devil, this black and white girl will chase a string as long as you're willing to play, and if left to find her own fun, she's a great hunter of dust bunnies.
