AMBER is a 6 to 8 eight year old golden/collie/retriever mix with soulful brown eyes, surrendered because she did not get along with a younger dog in her home. A grown-up girl with good manners, she occasionally displays a great sense of humor, throwing herself on her back and wiggling around like a puppy. She knows basic obedience commands, and enjoys training, especially the treats! Walks on lead, which she loves, will be a great help with weight loss. Amber needs a quiet, adult home, with no other pets and no young children. In the right home, she will be a calm companion, enjoying her sofa time. Amber is spayed, up to date on vaccines and ready to go home where she can devote herself to her people. She is a golden years pet (no adoption fee for seniors).
