dog Gypsy

GYPSY is a 5 year old spayed Lab and Golden Retriever mix, weighing 75 pounds. She was rescued from North Carolina where she had she spent four plus years in a pen with an English Bull Terrier. She did have a shelter, but was not a house dog. Now, she really just wants to be indoors with her very own family. She bonded with my husband when he went to get her but we have been unsuccessful in our attempt to have her bond with our other dog and cat. Gypsy is very affectionate and intelligent, a calm and loving dog, Housebroken, and in need of some training, space to move and daily activity to keep her brain engaged, Gypsy needs a home with a calm assertive person where she is the only pet. She is up to date with all of her shots, but must take heartworm medicine as early signs of heartworm have been detected. We will foster her until we find the best permanent home for her. We would like to keep her but must respect the needs of our other pets. Contact Info: Jack and Myra Hornblower, Sullivan, Maine 207-422-8931; email: mainemyra@yahoo.com
