Cat Boarding When Space is Available
The Ark is a non profit IRS 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the care of homeless, unwanted or displaced animals. We provide shelter and care to all admitted animals until appropriate placement can be made. The Ark does not euthanize unless a serious medical or behavioral problem exists. The Ark Animal Shelter is located at the end of Barber Lane in Cherryfield, Maine. See maps.
The Ark proudly announces the foundation of a new organization to honor and support our older animals: AARP (Ark Association of Retired Pets). See our "Golden Years" pets currently available (adoption fee waived for senior citizens).
