The Ark Animal Shelter would like to let everyone know that our bottle and can redemption shed was moved last week. It was re-located from its Little Deer Isle location to the yard of board member Clare Grindle, which is across from the Eggemoggin Country Store. The shed was moved by Charlie Peabody of Stonington and greatly aided in the process by Jeremy Stewart, whose crew built the shed originally.
We hope everyone will continue to use the shed in its new location as they have during its many years on Little Deer, donating their bottles and cans to directly benefit the many orphaned, abused and abandoned animals in need.
