Big Mickey Mouses (Mickey Mice? Mickey MEECE?) We digress…Anyway…they are AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! (AKA Rats). It doesn’t take much to convince this shelter staff how wonderful rats are as pets. We simply love ’em! Rats are smart, easy to train, and are not the yucky pets you thought they might be. They spend hours during the day grooming themselves, and they love human companionship and time out of their cages to be held and crawl on your shoulder. We would like to emphasize that these furry babes are available to the right person for PETS and COMPANIONS; not anything else.
