My name is Rudy-Lee. I’m on the left, with my two sisters riding on the boat. I’m 8 years old, adorable, sweet, and I steal hearts within minutes (especially the ladies’). Usually I whine and cry to my foster parents for attention, telling them all kinds of stories, but today I’ll try something new and tell you a sad story in my words.
I have a luxating patella, and sometimes it can be very painful and uncomfortable. In doggie terms, it pretty much means that it hurts when I go walking, and I have limited mobility. In September, I am finally going to the doctor and having it fixed! While I’m a little scared to be away from mumma and daddy, they just keep telling me that I am going to feel like a new doggie afterwards! I’ll be able to run with my sisters and keep up with their silly butts. (And they sure are silly).
My foster parents and the Ark are very good and will get me fixed up no matter what, but we could use a little help. The surgery could cost nearly $3,000! (But let’s face it: everyone knows I’m worth it).
