Dear friends,
The Ark is increasing adoption prices and policy, due to increases in basic care and other veterinary services. We still strive to have competitive adoption prices in comparison to other shelters. If you have any questions on anything, please do not hesitate to contact Shaina, the Shelter Administrator.
Felines:

Adopt two pets at the same time and receive 20% off the second adoption fee (applied to the lower of the two adoption fees). This excludes the adoption of two kittens, as we have a specific special on a dual kitten adoption.
Golden Years Program: Seniors 65+ adopting a senior dog may pay a donation of choice in place of the regular adoption fee.
A full altercation deposit will be required for straight adoptions of any animal that is not spayed or neutered. An appointment will need to be made the day of the adoption by the adopter. Upon bringing in proof of rabies and/or spay/neuter thereafter, the deposit will be returned.
All animals ready for adoption have received check-ups and any needed veterinary care, have been given temporary vaccinations against diseases, and have been wormed, groomed and checked for external parasites. Spay/Neuter is also included in your adoption fee, as well as microchip, microchip registration, 30 days of free pet health insurance (if you provide us with an email address).
We no longer test for lyme disease. If this is something you feel necessary, you may pay to have your veterinarian test for lyme.
