Our focus for this fundraising event is to turn our attention, and yours, to abandoned pets and others seized by The State Humane Agent who receives reports of abused or neglected animals – or both! This is the story of Nova, who was picked up by a Good Samaritan in Jonesport. She was brought to the shelter and posted on Facebook but no one claimed her. The Ark took care of all her medical and dietary needs, and soon she transformed into a sweet, lovable dog. Fast forward to the Happy Ending! She was adopted to her forever home and continues to thrive. Please join us on Sat. July 8 to continue to support our mission for the ones who have no voice. Don’t forget to save all your cans and bottles, and drop them off at one of our bins or call for a pick up – 565-2214. We thank you!
