Bones (nicknamed Beau) is a very handsome and intelligent six-year-old Rat Terrier. Recently displaced, Bones is looking for another chance to prove himself. A real pleasure to have at The Ark, Bones is awesome on leash, friendly with both cats and dogs, and eager to please. Still needing some work with his recall skills, he’s not to be trusted off leash (at least initially). A well-rounded dog with so much to offer, Bones is ready to be your Beau.
Almost a year old, Lolita is a Shepherd/Collie mix with a perfect smile. No really, she smiles. Adopted from The Ark as a puppy but returned after her owner could no longer care for her, Lolita is still in that puppy stage—playful, a little jumpy, but housetrained and well-mannered just the same. Come give Lolita the home she deserves…that will really put a smile on her face.
Ruthie is a one-year-old Corgi mix with the sweetest kisses. She’s the kind of dog that loves everyone she meets, and everyone loves her. She’s housetrained, walks very well on a leash, and plays nicely with all of the other dogs. More than ready to be your loyal friend, Ruthie’s hoping that you will soon be on the other end of her kisses.
Baxter is a little two-year-old Beagle mix with a big personality. Cuter than cute, Baxter is so starving for love and affection, he practically crawls into your clothes while petting him. He loves spending time playing outdoors, often finding that perfect stuffed toy to dismantle. Mild-mannered, but not afraid to stand up for himself, Baxter is ready to be by your side.
Lina is one of two Manchester Terrier mixes currently at The Ark. A little over two years old and a real sweetie, she loves all the attention that she can get. She’s very agile and high-spirited while at play and on walks, but enjoys her snuggle time just as well. A loyal dog who will thrive in a variety of environments, Lina would like to be that “someone special” in your life.
