This is our sweet girl Bonnie. She came in with her friend Scarlett from the same place as Copper and Caramel. Bonnie is a very special girl who will need a very special owner that’s willing to work to rehabilitate her. We don’t think she’s had much contact with humans in her 4 years of life and has certainly never known a normal home life. She is very shy initially but warms up relatively quickly; she’ll give you her little chin for scratches when she likes you! She’s soooo sweet and loves to be brushed to sleep. Potty training and leash walking are foreign concepts to her – she will need someone quiet, calm and patient to work with her on these things as well as general socialization. We believe the work will be more than worth it. She has the potential to be the sweetest and most loving companion given the chance!

Scarlett came in with her friend Bonnie from the same place as Copper and Caramel. She’s much more timid than Bonnie and will need a lot of support adjusting to a home. She tolerates pets but it definitely still makes her a little nervous! With time and love she will adjust to all of the comforts a family can provide, as long as they are patient with her. She will do best in a calm and quiet home where she has a place to eat in private; being perceived is kind of scary! She has a lot to learn in regards to potty training, leash training and socialization, but that shouldn’t be a problem for the right person. She’ll be here waiting for the perfect match! Could it be you?

Hi! My name is Caramel and I’m around 3 years old. I came here not too long ago from what I hear is called a puppy mill. I’m used to other dogs, but not so much people. I’m very very shy around strangers and I haven’t been quite confident enough to go out on a walk with the people that feed me. I do love the snacks they bring me though! Maybe if they keep this up I’ll start being a little braver! Maybe I’ll even go to a new home that will help give me confidence! I could really use a calm home environment to relax in. Will you please give me on

Hi, I’m Copper! I’m around 3 years old. I just arrived here not too long ago from a backyard breeding situation. There were a whole lot of other dogs there so I’m used to being one of many. I think I might prefer to have a friend, but I’m also okay by myself. I’m very friendly and would love to sit in your lap for cuddles! I might be a bit shy at first, but that’s because I’ve never had a real home before. Despite my rough beginning, I’m getting to be a confident boy and I’ve even walked on a leash! I would love to go home with you and explore the real world even more!

Meet LP!
LP is quite the rambunctious guy, and is FULL of energy! He has potential to be with other dogs, but it may take a minute for him to get fully acquainted. Lp can be a little shy at first, but once you become his friend he really makes it worth while! He loves to talk, always having something to say about what is going on.
Lp would most likely do well with older kids who can hold their own, as he gets a little overly excited and happy and can be a little bit much. It would be best for this happy guy to go to a home with no kitties because he loves to rough house and can be a little much for a cat
