Say hello to the Duke, a seven-year-old Redbone Coonhound. Duke is an impressive dog, in both stature and manner. Very easy going, he is happiest playing the part of couch hound. He does love going for walks, however, mostly motivated by a strong desire to retire shortly after. A big, loveable guy, Duke is hoping that you have a special spot on the couch just for him.

Roux is a fine-looking , six-and-a-half year old Pomeranian who can’t seem to find his place in the world. He’s very affectionate, gets along great with other dogs, and thoroughly enjoys both walks and car rides. So what’s the problem? He’s never had a home with a consistent bathroom schedule, which has caused poor Roux to have one too many accidents in the house. Help Roux get on a set routine, and he will prove to be the best companion.

Chico is a mellow, eleven-year-old Chihuhua with a brand new smile. Recently back from a trip to the dentist, Chico is looking good from head to toe. He arrived at The Ark a bit gloomy because his owner had fallen too ill to care for him, but he’s beginning to perk with esperanza (hope). He loves going for leisurely walks, soothing belly rubs, and helping out in the kitchen. Please come give this charming little guy a new casa.

Bones (nicknamed Beau) is a very handsome and intelligent six-year-old Rat Terrier. Recently displaced, Bones is looking for another chance to prove himself. A real pleasure to have at The Ark, Bones is awesome on leash, friendly with both cats and dogs, and eager to please. Still needing some work with his recall skills, he’s not to be trusted off leash (at least initially). A well-rounded dog with so much to offer, Bones is ready to be your Beau.
