Cricket and Sparkle are six-month-old Border Collie mix pups awaiting their forever homes. Because they had very little socialization prior to arriving at the Shelter, we are just now starting to see those inner sparks. They are both walking well on a leash and excelling at their house training skills (Collie smarts). Playful and as cute as can be, Cricket and Sparkle are like open canvases waiting for you to add a brush of color and life. Together, or as one, they’ll be lots of fun.
Hi there, my name is Duke, and I’m a one year old All-American Breed mix. They tell me that I’m as tough as I am sweet. See my past is a little sad because I was abused. Despite all of that, I do love people, children, and other dogs—but sometimes I get a little nervous around men. Everyone at The Ark is so nice and they tell me that I’m going to have a new, loving home soon. I really like going for walks, playing ball, and rolling around in the snow. I’m Duke, and I’m a lover, not a fighter.

A larger-than-life personality, Louisa is a two-year-old Chihuahua who arrived at the Shelter in need of some work. Her prior home life offered her no proper training or socialization, so she will require some patience initially. Once she gets to know you, however, she turns on the charm in a way that only a Chihuahua can. Full of life, love, and loads of cuteness, Louisa is looking for a warm lap to snuggle on. Born in July of 2012, Peaches is a super sweet Terrier mix with a beautiful sleek coat and golden-green eyes. A fast learner, she is progressing very nicely with her house and leash training, as well as her recall skills. Giving kisses, snuggling, and long, peaceful naps are a few of her favorite things. Full of love, and Terrier toughness too, Peaches is a pure delight. Age: 1.5 years.
