Hi there, my name is Duke, and I’m a one year old All-American Breed mix. They tell me that I’m as tough as I am sweet. See my past is a little sad because I was abused. Despite all of that, I do love people, children, and other dogs—but sometimes I get a little nervous around men. Everyone at The Ark is so nice and they tell me that I’m going to have a new, loving home soon. I really like going for walks, playing ball, and rolling around in the snow. A larger-than-life personality, Louisa is a two-year-old Chihuahua who arrived at the Shelter in need of some work. Her prior home life offered her no proper training or socialization, so she will require some patience initially. Born in July of 2012, Peaches is a super sweet Terrier mix with a beautiful sleek coat and golden-green eyes. A fast learner, she is progressing very nicely with her house and leash training, as well as her recall skills. Giving kisses, snuggling, and long, peaceful naps are a few of her favorite things. Full of love, and Terrier toughness too, Peaches is a pure delight. Age: 1.5 years.
