We are pleased to introduce you to these two sweet beauties, Zola and Sebastian.
These two dogs were very well-loved by their owners, and were surrendered by no fault of their own. Playful, full of love, easy going, and super gracious for human attention, these two are going to make the most perfect addition to your loving family.
We are doing everything we can to make sure these two are going home together, as they are super bonded and never been away from each other. (Zola: “Sometimes I suck Sabastian’s ear.”
Please. Put an application in and give us a call. We’d love to chat more with you about these two wonderful dogs. We know it can be hard to place two dogs at once, but we know that it’s possible.
2.5 year old beagle mixes.
Princess has quite the fitting name, as she is QUITE the Princess and likes to be treated as such. Dainty, feminine, and simply a love bug, she is wondering if you might send in an application on her and set up an appointment to meet her!
Grady is so very beautiful, and when you go into his room he really puts up a stink to get some petting. He is going to make someone a wonderful cat. Please fill out an application and give us a call.

Three-year old Gallagher has the handsomest Irish name for being such a cute red head. Why don’t you fill out an application, and give us a call to meet him?

Please find it in your heart to bring this girl home and give her all the time and patience in the world to settle in, with lots of her own space and quiet time. Nala was surrendered at eighteen years old under very sad circumstances that were not her fault- or her owner’s. Please give us a call to talk about Nala so she can come home to live her golden years with you. Please also understand that Nala
has had a very difficult time here at the shelter, and we expect a long transition period for her when she goes home.

Maxie is quite a sweetie, though has been a bit..ahem..destructive at the shelter. He may need some kennel training, and we would like to see him go home soon so that he isn’t too stressed at the shelter. He is only a year old and ready to go home with her new family!
At only a year old, Ram is just a handsome pup! We like to call him a handome mansome or a cutsie bootsie.
He is a bull dog mix, andsuper sweet and playful. Apply for his adoption today.
Dakota’s favorite hobbies include being cute, and staring at people while he wags his tail waiting to be petted. He is a 5 year old terrier mix who is ready to have you apply to adopt him today!
Can’t you tell how sweet this pup is by looking at him? He’s only nine-months old, and a beautiful mix of doggo.
River the plott hound is the perfect combination of courage and athletic ability. Do you like to go for daily walkies? River’s got you. Do you like to go for hikies? River is down. Do you like to just bond with your dog by throwing balls and playing? River is there. And if all that matters at the end of your active day is cuddling up with your snuggly hound dog on the couch, then River has your back SO good.
Hounds can make BEAUTIFUL house pets, when given the proper socialization, consistent routine, ex, and mental stimulation. (Like any other dog, really). We also believe that for a plott hound, River is pretty chilled out. Does she bark and bay from time to time? Um, yes. She is a hound dog. Sorry guys.
We hope River doesn’t have to stay in the shelter much longer.
We believe River will fit in well as an only dog, unless the “right” dog came along, only with proper introduction and plenty of supervision until everyone knows each other. River can’t be placed with kitties…She is like the old cartoon where when she looks at kitties she sees hamburgers and chicken drumsticks instead.
River would be ok with someone “fancy smancy” who buys her Bark Boxes and mind-doggie games. But she’d also be ok with someone who simply loves her and spends times with her and works with her, even if they don’t buy Bark Boxes! Maybe you’ll just share your peanut butter and jelly once in a while and give good belly rubs.
River is about 2 years old.

Tink is a 3-year old lab mix who, as you can see by her picture, is ready to put on er best face so that you’ll put in an adoption application and come meet her.
Oscar is looking for his home. He told us that he is hoping to go to a family who loves big handsome cats that like being held and snuggled. Give us a call, and apply for his adoption online! He is only a little over a year old, healthy, and full of love to give.
Meet Lily, who is very emotional, human-like, kind and beautiful. She is a medium size mix who can’t wait to live out her years with a family who loves her and cares about her.
Lily was picked up near the Canadian border recently by animal control. She was brought to the Ark to be given her second chance! We are very happy to have her.
Lily is spayed and healthy, and ready to go home. On the older side, she is a bit “growly” when getting a collar put on. We think a home without young children would be most ideal, as she might need some quiet time transitioning and becoming used to a new home. We are unsure of how long she may have been running loose for.
This beautiful cat goes by the beautiful name of “Shiroh.” He has a soul and a personality that is just as sweet as his looks. Boasting a medium-length fully white coat, these cats are sometimes referred to as “Turkish Vans.”
Shiroh is such a pleasant boy. He is neutered and up to date on everything, and ready to go home with his new family. He is an adult, and though we aren’t sure if his age, we are guessing maybe 2-3 years old.
