Hello! I’m Buttons!

I am a little bit shy, and may run away when you first come up to me, but I promise I am trying my best!

After a year of being here at the shelter, I have come to realize that not everyone is out to get me. As a past junk yard kitty, it has been really hard for me to settle into the shelter life, but I’m making good progress!! When I first got here I would hide, and hiss at anyone who got too close to me, out of fear of what would happen. A year later and I have figured out that these human things aren’t too too bad! I like to chatter at them when they feed me my supper, to show my appreciation. They give catnip (which I have found is quite amazing!), I get temptation treats whenever I want them, and they have these nice squeeze treats that I just ADORE! I originally came in with my family, and watched them all get adopted, just leaving me. As sad as that was to experience, I’ve met a lot of pretty cool cats! There’s a younger group in with me right now that i seem quite fond of. If it isn’t too much to ask, id love to be adopted with one of them or maybe if there’s another nice kitty in the home that would be nice. I enjoy the comfort of others in my times of anxiousness. I promise I’ll try as hard as I can to be the best house cat! A friend would just make it that much easier on me

Is anybody interested in a shy lady like me? Ive seen a lot of kitties come and go, and I’ve tried my hardest to prove that I am ready for it to be my turn!

These two ladies are a little shy when you first meet them. After a bit of convincing you can manage a few pets on them. They may hiss and make noise at first, but they settle down and let you touch them after a second. These ladies tend to stick together, curled up in a cubby sleeping. Although they are somewhat weary and scared, they are also very curios as well. They show immense promise for coming out of their shells
Zues

Zues

Meet Zues

Say hello to Zues, this big handsome hunk is about 3 years old with such a wonderful attitude about life. He should be in a home with older kids 6+ years old just because of his size! He does NOT do well with cats and could potentially do well with a dog his size pending a meet and greet. How could you say no to that big smile .

Meet Kenzie

Say hello to this handsome 2-year-old hunk named Kenzie! Kenzie’s favorite thing in the whole wide world is people. He loves attention. Kisses and all the lovings! Unfortunately, because of his hide prey drive Kenzie would not do well in a home with any other animals including cats, dogs, small animals, etc. But we do think he would do well in a home with older kids. Kenzie does well on the leash is very gentle with people! Due to his nervous tendencies, we think Kenzie would do best in a calm environment. Does your home sound like a good fit for Kenzie?
