She is a lab mix, around 1-1.5 years old. She growls at the other doggies if there is food around, so there might be a bit of food aggression going on, but with some supervision and some work, it can surely be improved! She is definitely a sweet girl!
Do you like quirky, cute little dogs? According to shelter staff, Pepita is quirky in all the right ways, and she loves to play with other dogs and comes out of her shell! Odie went home! He is VERY timid, and was placed in a home where he has a brother who looks just like him, and came from Puerto Rico as well! The couple that adopted him have patience for timid dogs, as their dog was once the same way as Odie. Odie will be very happy in his new home after he adjusts, and will love playing in his fenced yard with his big brother! This is certainly a Happy Tail.

From Sabrina and Lucinda’s Mom: “They are doing really well! Sabrina is sleeping with me in the bed and follows me around everywhere. Lucinda is still a very shy kitty but has come out more and more. She has let me give her full body pets almost every night for the past week when we have treat time!”
Such wonderful news for two adult kitties who spent too much time in the shelter!
