Dozer

Dozer

My name is Dozer and I’m a four-year-old Pitbull mix. Unfortunately, my owner had to move and was unable to take me with him. I’m making the best of it here, playing with my new dog friends and soaking up the sun, but I’m really hoping someone discovers me soon. They tell me that I have a lot going for me—I think you’ll agree.

Shirley

Shirley

Shirley is eight months old and a real peach of a kitty. Romeo’s sister, Shirley carries the same good looks and stature as her handsome bother. A personality that just makes you smile, Shirley is hoping and wishing that you will come and pick her!

Buffy

Buffy

Buffy is a one-year-old longhaired beauty who was found living in a barn over the harsh winter with her sister, Muffy. A bit more reserved than her sister, Buffy takes a little longer to warm up to your affections. Maybe a bit overshadowed by her more glamorous counterpart, Buffy will certainly find her own ways to shine.

Juno

Juno

Juno is a handsome young fellow with personality and style to boot. At just two years old, he seems to have a real sense of how the world works. But then again, he’s basically spent the last two years as stray trying to make it in the world. A special cat looking for that special home, Juno’s ready for your love and affection.

Romeo

Romeo

Tuffy

Tuffy

A new addition to the Shelter, Tuffy is a gorgeous, one-and-a-half–year-old Long Hair who hasn’t stopped purring since she arrived. Abandoned over the winter, Tuffy was found in a barn with several other cats trying to make it on their own. An extremely affectionate kitty, you can’t help but love and admire her sweet disposition. A real catch, Tuffy is ready to catch your eye.

Lady Blue Belle

Lady Blue Belle

Lady Blue Belle (AKA Belle Belle) is a blue merle Great Dane female that was born in New York State in May of 2012. Her mother was a European Great Dane and her father was an American Great Dane. She is AKC registered and weighs roughly 125 pounds. She came to live with us when she was 12 weeks old from a home that she shared with 6 Bullmastiffs. At first she was very nervous and ate really fast, probably because she was always competing for food. She still has some nervous tendencies but has outgrown most of them. She currently shares a home with two adopted brothers, Chopper, who is also a blue merle Dane, and a beagle name Jack who rules the roost. She gets along great with other dogs.

Belle Belle has never been exposed to cats, but she doesn’t have any aggressive tendencies. We are a very busy household so she meets a lot of new people all the time, both young and old, and loves everyone. I think her biggest complaint about us is that we won’t let her sit in our laps! She is an absolute sweet heart and it breaks my heart to have to part with her. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s family.

BeeBee

BeeBee

Hi, my name is BeeBee and I’m a seven-year-old Tortishell. I had a nice home of my own for several years, but when my owner passed, I found myself back at the shelter where I started. I’m an easy-going, mature girl who’s learned how to live a peaceful life—I really do get along with just about everybody, including children. I hope to find another special home with a cat-loving family to share all the best parts of the day with.

Max

Max

Max here, and I’m a little over a year now. The staff tells me that I’m a fairly handsome fellow. I’m also a pretty confident guy—living out in the wild certainly helps the boy become a man. Along with my buddy Brantley, I managed to make it through most of the harsh winter outside. I wouldn’t mind being an indoor-outdoor cat, but I’m really looking forward to having a cozy, warm home of my own. I like to play just as much as the next fellow, but I really look forward to curling up with the people I love. Ok, I’m kind of a lover boy…I said it.

Brantley

Brantley

My name is Brantley and I’m a little over a year old. I’m a very friendly guy who likes to engage in a bit of conversation…you know, things like the weather and social issues impacting our lives. I also like to play chase and pounce on my kitty toys, especially when there’s a human involved—they always make things more interesting. I get along well with other cats and I’m also pretty comfortable around dogs. When the weather’s nice, I’m not opposed to going outdoors, as long as I don’t have to LIVE out there. I’ve had enough of that life.

T-Bone

T-Bone

We are happy to introduce you to T-Bone, a twelve-year-old Papillon. Despite the fact that he’s spent his entire life breeding in a puppy mill, T-Bone is a genuinely happy guy who’s wide-eyed and ready for the great unknown. Preliminary vet results look good, though we had to have all of his rotten teeth pulled to prevent infection. He is well on his way to being house trained, and he’s very much looking forward to a new beginning with a happy ending.

Igor and Minew are looking to start a new chapter in life, but continue to remain together. Please call the Shelter for more information.

Lancaster

Lancaster

Lancaster arrived at the Shelter severely dehydrated and under weight– weighing a little over 2 pounds at approx. 4 months of age. We weren’t sure that this poor little guy would pull through, but what a fighter he is! Almost three weeks later, he now weighs five pounds. As soon as he is neutered, Lancaster will be waiting excitedly for his new home. So stop by and meet this wonder kitty.

Fria

Fria

They call me Fria, and I’m a little over a year now. I was found alongside of the road on a frigid winter morning—I was starving and had been eating trash from a dumpster. I’ve put on some weight and have a clean bill of health, so I’m ready for my next life. They say I’m kind of sassy, but I think that’s a good thing. I guess I am a little rough around the edges, but I had to be. Inside, I want what every other cat around here wants…to be loved.
