Zory

Zory

ZORY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Zory is simply described by the animal care techs as a “sweetheart.” Come meet her today! We are accepting applications on this girl. Her estimated date of birth is 3/18/18. She seems to enjoy music, wagging her tail as our photographer gently whistled and sang to her.

Lila

Lila

Meet Layla. She is really hoping someone doesn’t judge her by her right eye that she has lost, and that someone will see the beauty within. Layla is used to being with other kitties. According to her feline evaluation, she is soft and relaxed in her body posture. Upon first meeting humans, she looks at them and then ignores them, but remains very calm. Upon initially being touched, she sniffs, butts her head, rubs on your hand, and rolls onto her back. She doesn’t respond to toys so far, but she likes to huddle with other kitties and appears bonded to another cat that we have in the shelter, who is a gray and white tiger cat. She tolerates being touched everywhere, but thoroughly enjoys being held in your arms. She is a bit shy and will need time to acclimate. She is cautiously friendly, and more at a stage where she likes to “observe” her humans rather than play. She would enjoy hidey holes. She is a nice cat who is quiet and calm. We hope that whoever falls in love with her might consider adopting her friend for reassurance.

Skud and Slinky

Skud and Slinky

“I is not mean, I just has pretty toothies.” This is Scud, who is just the sweetest thing. He likes to show off his “little” brother Slinky, even though they are the same age. Skud weighs about 18 pounds and Slinky falls behind at a whopping 9 pounds. Once you meet these two, you’ll see that they will run away with your heart, and you might even want to adopt both of them together! Please come in and meet these two Pomeranian mixes today. (We believe they look more like papillons, but either way, they are just as lovable as they can be)! DOB 2/12/19.

Taina

Taina

Say cheese! This beautiful lady is smiling for the camera, hoping to be home soon. Taina is a beautiful chestnut caramel color and is a 20-week old spayed female. We aren’t exactly sure of her mix, but we just know that she was mixed right! If you have an interest in this lovely pup, please call the shelter or stop in, and fill out an application! Taina will need to be adopted with her sister Terri, who is the same age and mix, but a lovely ebony black in color. Both dogs don’t “show” well, and tend to bark at people, are can be very fearful. They will need to have multiple meet and greets in order to be able to go home with someone. We are looking for a family with dedication to working with fearful, timid dogs that have a lot of patience and love. At the Ark, we just know they will find a home as loving as they are. Take a look at our website to read about Terri as well!

Terri

Terri

“Will you come meet me and give me a treat?” This is Terri, wondering if you would like to come see her here at the Ark and bring her home. She is a  spayed female who was born in September 2019, and is smiling at the camera just for you! She has adorable paws, pretty teeth, and fur as black as a January night sky. Although we aren’t sure what breeds make her up, we DO know that she must have been mixed with all the right stuff. Come meet Terri today and fall in love.
